Hydrographic Consultants (HCL) is based in Houston, Texas and is actively involved with providing hydrographic survey and survey support services on projects locally, nationally as well as around the globe. Our survey experience ranges from traditional navigation surveys associated with dock facilities, sediment sampling in support of dredging projects to applying “state of the art technologies” for investigative and support surveys to marine salvage and offshore oilfield services operations.
Aside from delivering high quality service and product, what sets HCL apart from other survey companies is our appreciation of our clients need for rapid response and quick turnaround for final deliverables. HCL maintains this operational philosophy, whether the survey is for an active dredging project or a planning study. Our performances on dredging projects provide numerous examples our ability to consistently provide our product in a timely manner, with many hydrographic deliverables being provided within 24 to 48 hours from the initial client request.
While geographically our base is in Houston and the majority of our projects are on the Texas Gulf Coast waterways as well as lakes, rivers and reservoirs in the interior of Texas, HCL has considerable experience on projects beyond our local borders. The principles of the firm, Messrs Roman and Seward, have over 50 years combined experience on hydrographic survey projects across the U.S. and World and since our inception in 2003; HCL has regularly performed survey services throughout the U.S. and Caribbean. Additionally, HCL has executed survey projects in South America, Africa, Australia and the South Pacific.
The geographical range of our work is evidence, not only to the wealth of experience that HCL can provide, but a proven ability to mobilize and execute work anywhere in the world.
